COLLABORATIONS
In our collaboration with Northwestern Michigan College, we help to explore the cultural landscape of the Great Lakes region and the complex history of Lake Huron, from prehistoric hunter-gatherers that lived in the area from at least about 13,000 years ago, to early 20th century shipwrecks. At Abbott Underwater Acoustics, we are excited about the future of underwater exploration with any educational or private partner, hoping to focus our skills and knowledge in the areas of research, teaching, and public outreach.

EDUCATION AND RESEARCH
At Abbott Underwater Acoustics, we create presentations and educational programs for higher learning and university classes. From training on the latest technology to showcasing research and methods, we help teachers and professors make their classrooms engaging and successful for many of the young students eager to get started down the career path of underwater research and archaeological discoveries.
